Join our friends at Rangitata High Country Hunting in the foothills of New Zealand’s Southern Alps, near beautiful Christchurch, NZ, for the hunt of a lifetime! Rangitata High Country Hunting owns over 200,000 acres of pristine alpine country, and all hunting happens right out of the lodge. The hunt includes a monster Red Stag scoring up to 500 SCI, Himalayan Tahr, Alpine Chamois, and Fallow Buck Deer. Animals can be shared between the hunter and observer if preferred!
Schedule the hunt for available dates in March-July 2027-2028. Hunt the red stag roar (rut) in March-April and hear the hills echo with their unique mating calls. Wait until May-July and hunt the bull tahr and chamois rut. Either way, you’ll have an amazing experience hunting all of these incredible animals! This hunt is valued at $65K.
